I have a quick question about the headliner I have a 54 four-door hornet and wondering if a 50 four-door Hornet is the same headliner or not I was trying to get one from LeBaron and all they have is a pattern for a 1950 seeing as I'm getting the seat covers and carpet from them I would really prefer the exact same material used for the headliner as for the seats unfortunately mine fell apart into little pieces when removing it so I don't have one to send them to make me one off of any suggestions

Scotty, Order a headliner from Acme headliner in California. They don't need your old pattern. For years they have stocked and supplied Hudson headliners. They are available from your local trim shop as Acme does not sell directly to the end user. The sedan interior pattern is the same from 48-54. The difference being that the rear window opening increased as the years went by. This will present no problem for you since that material will just be cut away anyway.

The 1950 rear windows were different (smaller), so not the same as the 54.
Types for sedans:
1. 48-49, and 50 Pacemaker
2. 50 Super/Commodore and all 51
3. 52-53
4. 54 may be the same as 52-53, but the windshield is different (one piece). I don't think that affects the headliner, so they're probably all the same as 52-53.

Line #1 , add '50 comm. or super Coupe, has same small back glass as '48-9&'50P
Back glass is the same for '52 thru'54
'51 coupe is slightly a smaller back glass than other '51 models, making it different
'54 has a bigger windshield opening at the top and the bottom, as Lance mentioned, is cut away anyway.

Thanks Doug, I knew about the 50 Super and Commodore coupes, and forgot to write that one there, but didn't know about the 51 coupe back windows. Good to know. The 54 windshield looks wider to me, but seems a little lower cut than the previous stepdowns, which become a cool factor to me. One thing I especially appreciate about that last model year Hudson.

Something to also consider if you order a headliner from Acme through your local trim shop. Apparently Acme has a cutoff date of 1048 for a change in the headliner costs. If you order a 1949 Hudson headliner for example, you will pay more for it than a 1948 headliner. Why I don't know but that is their policy. Point being if your trim shop is going to order a headliner for your car , order a 1948 headliner. It will work just fine allowing for the modification in the read window if necessary.
