I began assembling the bored out 232 for my '54 Wasp, now a 237 (wow). Of course now it's 90 degrees here in Yakima, Wa., too hot to do yard work, right????

Hey Bruce, good luck on that! I'm not far away over in Tri-Cities, so let's plan to get together sometime. You're right, too hot to do the yard, but cold beer sure seems like a solution!

Hi, I just moved this thread from the "Club and Forum -- Suggestions and Comments" forum, to the more appropriate "Hudson" forum.
Very unusual weather for this time of the year in North Fla. Today in the low 70's. Usually in the upper 80's by now.
Wasp engine looking good!
What all are you having to do on the rebuild?
I am doing a total rebuild, although the car has only 52K on it, it suffered from a cracked head and a lot of blow-by. Had it bored out, new valves, seats, etc. The crank and cam just needed polishing, but replacing most parts with new. Hope to drive it down to Frisco in July!

Just curious -
Clarification: 237(?)... How much was it bored?
,040 overbore.
Don't forget to put the bolts in the rear of the crank. These are hard to install once the crank and rear cap are in. D
Doug-Thanks for that! I installed them soon after taking this picture, as usual I learned this procedure the hard way at one time!
