The '55 uses torsional springs (a la clockspring) on the hood & trunk lids. I need to put 1/2 turn on 3 of the 4 springs on the car to keep the lids up when they're supposed to be up. Is anyone aware of a specialty tool or procedure for this issue? Thanks, and viva Hudson!
