Greetings, my horn is no longer working and I suspect that there is a bad connection within the steering wheel push button mechanism.
I cant seem to remove it. Any advice?

Kindly,

Devin

Remove which horn or button?

Thank you Lance for your follow up. To clarify, it is the horn button on the wheel which I'm having difficulty extracting.

I don't know about the '41, but if the horn button is round it may be removable as follows:

First, either disconnect the battery or remove the wire from the horn relay, so the horn won't go off while you're doing this.

Second, press the button down as far as it will go. Then twist the button to right or left, maybe 1/8 to 1/4 turn. This should release the button and it should "pop out". If it doesn't work at first, try turning in the opposite direction. Or twist further.

At least that's how it comes off in my 1937!

Thank you Jon.

I have a '46 Bigboy. I'll give it a try

From behind the wheel, I can see 2-3 clips within small holes. If the button can not be twisted to be removed, might I need to depress the clips?

Jon has the right idea - that's the weay all Hudson horn buttons were removed as I recall until the larger wheels were installed like on the '47 thru '54 Hornets and Commodores
