Has anyone used this with their prewar cars?
Victor,
Bought one for each of my Hudsons. Two thumbs up. Sure beats listening to talk radio. I hook up my ipod to it and listen to my favorite tunes while cruising in my Hudsons. Call the toll free number and talk to the inventor to get the info you need. He has fast service via priority mail.

John, I too have heard good things about these gizmos, but you have to have some sort of radio receiver to hook them too -- such as an Ipod or whatever....right? I don't have an Ipad or Ipod so could one simply buy a cheapie AM - FM radio and plug it into the Redi-Rad?
Also, Redi-Rads will work with a 6-volt positive ground system like Hudson's, is that correct?
Simple enough to find out~~~

Have one in the Hudson I will be bringing to the National, and can demonstrate to anyone who wants to see how it works.
Jon,
You can buy a cheap Walkman with AM/FM and a CD player, and just plug it in. Don't really need an I-pod. If you have a working radio in your car, you plug it into the antenna outlet, another wire into a hot wire, and another to ground. Hides easily in a glove box, or under the dash. I use the factory speakers that were original to the car, or you can get modern ones and hide them somewhere.
