You may notice a small difference to the way in which the website is presented now. All connections to it are now encrypted do the address bar will change from "[b]http://[/b]" www.hetclub.org to being "[b]https://[/b]" www.hetclub.org .

From a user perspective you should see no difference at all; the pages will all look and feel the same. Don't worry if you have saved links to the http address, they will by default be redirected to the secure address.

In the coming weeks the underlying engine that drives the website will also be updated, I am just waiting on a release of the Shop software to be made available and tested. Once that is in then the PHP version will also be updated to version 7.1.

Please note that I have tested connections on all the browsers I have available to me (FireFox, Opera, Chrome, IE11 ,Edge) but have no access to any mobile devices like tablets so if people are using these and spot any issues please drop me a note at webmaster@hetclub.,org or post a response in here.
