Ok folks I have a 1937 Hudson and even got a title with it. However the title has not been notarized which is required in North Dakota.
Now Louisiana does not accept it for registrations and I can not get a hold of either the seller or previous own. Same goes with the bill of sale. So the question of the day is what can I do legally to get it registered in Louisiana. And how is it done.
Gordon, there are several people that advertise title services in Hemmings. You might try simple calling one of those and see what they say?. It couldn't hurt anything to ask?.
Did that they want $400 to $700. Trying to find a cheaper alternative.

If you know a local used car dealer check with them. They always are good sources on getting titles straightened out.

Think I found a work around Louisiana will take Non notarized titles from states that don't require themIt just so happens that ND is one of those states. One step closer to being on the road
Success, With help of a nice young lady I now have a new Title on the way in my name and car is registered.
