Re: Body Manual, I downloaded the 48-54 Body Manual quite a while ago. Reviewing it however, I don't see any content for the Jet that indicates non-removal of the rear window. To my knowledge, there is no Jet specific book, just the section in the 48-54 manual.

There are 2 different procedures in the book you have. I was referring to the second set of instructions (started on the same page)
Regarding the Jet section that begins on page 38, Step 3 indicates removal of rear window and weatherstrip (image attached). Perhaps you mean specifically the Installation section beginning on page 39?
Other than not removing glass, the only other deviation from the Hudson instructions are to begin at the front of the car instead of the rear.
The fact that the front opening has glazier's points to hold the headliner in addition to the glue makes me feel better about it's ability to hold while I do the rest. Further, rear areas always require more forming and fitting, so I like doing that last. I am not sure why the Body Manual calls that out first, especially since it does not include the installation of the rear glass until after the rest of the headlining done. Seems to me that if the design truly relies on the glass, the procedure would call for the installation of the glass immediately after the rear section is done and before moving on toward the front.
