Hi; I had in the Parts FS part of the forum, an ad for a '37 pickup driver's side running board; the floor pan that goes over the transmission; and a front axle, with spindles, springs and tie rod also from a '37 pickup. I hate to take these for metal scrap, but I really don't have either space or a use for them, so if there is no interest at FREE plus cost of shipping, they will go to scrapyard by the beginning of June or so.

For what it's worth, I can deliver these at no charge to the UPS Store in Port Angeles, WA 98362, and you can handle shipping from there. As an alternative to commercial shipping, if you go to a website called 'U-bid', or something like that, you'll see ads for people that drive around the country in their big pickups , picking up and delivering stuff privately for a lot less than the cost of a shipper like UPS. I had my car shipped to me that way from about 500 miles away and it worked out fine. You may have a different experience, who knows? If you go this way, I would guess the axle assembly is maybe 150 pounds. The running board and floor panel are awkward to ship from their shape, but not heavy. Good luck!

Anothing inexpensive way to ship awkward or heavy car parts is to tie them to a pallet and take them to your nearest Fastenal store. It's called "3rd Party Logistics". Must be arranged through the 3PL division, not through the counter guy at your local store, who may not know the service exists.
