Would anyone have any idea why my rear brake lights would turn ON and stay on ...when I pull up my 50C8 parking brake handle. Never happened before. Just recently. Where should I start the search. Thx.

Obviously you would start the search at the actual brake switch. Is it mechanical or hydraulic? Is there a broken spring perhaps? Logic.

The usual reason the brake lights stay on is a defective stop light switch. If it only happens when you use the hand brake, there might be frayed wires going to the switch.
