My uncle was this Hudson in Indiana. 1947, what is the model?

Ryan,

Its a '46 or '47 Hudson Commodore. I can't make out the writing on the hood to tell whether it is a 6 or an 8.

It has Commodore trim so it has to be a Commodore 8. They didn't make convertibles in the Commodore Six or Super 8, unless someone made one up. It should have a 54 or 174 as the model number but if it was made up, it could have a 51 or 171 (Super Six) in the model number. There were no Commodore 6 (52 or 172) or Super 8 (53 or 173) convertibles.

Ryan, and it is a beauty too !!! I like this much better than the '54 convertible he had!
