Would someone please help me identify these windows? I think they are for a '49 convertible but need to confirm. I've never seen windows with the 4 little rollers built into the tail end of the frame like this. Obviously they will have to be replaced. Does anyone have a source for these? They look like little ball bearings.

Thanks for the help!

Mike

Mike, are any of them any good?. They are all the same roller front door glass included. There is a spring that has to be there also. The spring keeps tension against the roller, which assist the window going up and down in the track smoothly. Make sure that you restore the tracks good enough so no real rough surfaces. The pivots all have to work very smooth also. I described to Russ Maas how I was doing them, and I thought he had made some. You might ask him. It isn't that difficult BUT very important you make them work as designed.
These are lefts and rights and for CV only, Hardtop frame and glass are different, BUT the rollers are the same.

Hi Mr. Wildrick. You've come to my assistance once again! So these ARE Hudson windows....that's good! I bought some parts from an estate and these were with them. I don't actually own a Hudson convertible. There was one for sale with these parts, but someone bought it out from under me, then tried to sell it to me for double the price! (I might as well have bought Parks convertible!)
No, the rollers are crap. I'll have to do a little more research on the rollers and the springs you say should be in there. It may require a total reconstruction, but I need to figure out how things are supposed to go. As long as I can be sure they are Hudson windows, I'll spend the time to get them right. Thanks for your advice!

Mike
