Howdy from El Paso Texas, I saw several hudson owners in Canutillo a couple of weeks. And I want to buy one NOW. call me 915 497 5869. God bless, Ryan
Welcome to the club, I'm new myself and just got my 1st Hudson a few weeks ago, this is a great community of enthusiasts full of priceless information around the globe! Look forward to seeing you with a Hudson soon!
V/R Nic.
Tell us a little more about yourself.
Also, which model Hudson are you looking for?
Welcome!
A couple of thoughts: don't be in TOO much of a rush! There are bargains out there, and there are things to learn about Hudsons that will help you shop for one intelligently. Take your time, and you'll be happy. Also, acquaint yourself with Hudsons from many years; you might have seen one that turned you on, but after seeing photos of the whole 48-year-output of Hudson, you might discover a year or body style that entices you even more.
Also, do connect with other members (here on the forum, at car shows, through your local H-E-T Chapter). Ask plenty of questions. Let people know what specifically you're looking for. Sometimes people can give you a lead on a car that isn't even for sale yet, and you can beat the crowd to a real gem, before it's even advertised. An informed shopper ends up as a happy Hudson owner.
hello Ryan. Welcome to the club. What body style are you wanting?. We restore Hudsons and always have 1 or 2 for sale. You can go to our website at www.wildrickrestoration.com or our parts website at www.wrphet.com . Both sites have our contact info. Give us a call if we can help.
Looking for 1952 hudson wasp or 1954 hudson super wasp or 1951, 1952 1953 hornet or 1950 hudson commodore. (For starters ) I saw a picture of a convertible and that was nice plus my wife would like it, too. About me- I have restored two GM classics and now want something really different.
Well, found but decided a Super wasp is not for me. I must have a Hornet. I have a good one in my sites, now.
Welcome to the club!! What did you not like about the super wasp?
The super wasp for sale locally needs pretty serious body work and but I think the smaller engine and shorter wheel base vs the for sale local hornet 4 door Was the decision maker. Also, I spent 30 minutes crawling under the hornet to check for rust and other damage , I only found minimal rust where the floor pan welds to the frame. Attached is picture of wasp accident damage. Plus hornets paint and upholstery is in better than good shape.
That's unfortunate! It looks like it was done by some kind of blade or tractor?.
Well Ryan if I may I suggest you contact Doug Wildrick. As he posted he usually has 1 or 2 for sale and they do GREAT work. He has my 39 at the moment. He may have what you are looking for
