What is the difference between a '51 and '52 front fender "Hornet" emblem besides the part number? Terry

The 53-53 has a "wider " center of the "tail" to match up with the wide moulding used on these cars.

Also Terry, in '50-'51 the Commodore/Hornet badge starts between the belt-line and the bottom of the fenders, doors, quarters and goes back to the pork chop.. Starting in '52, they are located on the edge- center-beltline- of the body roll. The trunk badge in '54 is different too.
We stock both of the retainers for these moldings.
