i have hummed and hawed for a long time about selling my car or not. I finally decided a month ago that I needed to because I knew the chances of me ever getting it back on the road were slim to non-existant so I advertised it for sale.
Today I accepted an offer and on Tuesday she goes to a new owner. Needless to say I will pass on the details of the club to him and encourage him to join.
So now I am Hudsonless so will need to get my enjoyment in different ways.
Needless to say I will continue in the club for as long as I can and will , as long as I'm needed, continue with my webmaster duties.
As I say a sad day indeed. In terms of real-world tragedies not that great but it is to me
Oh, no! I was rooting for you on your repairs. So sorry to hear. We still appreciate your work on the site. Mike Sheridan

And me Mike but sometimes reality comes and stares you in the face and you can't help but stare back. This was one of those occasions.
The chap who is buying it sounds keen and will be pointed in this direction of course!
Paul, maybe we could start an effort for club members to send you one piece of a Hudson at a time (like Radar mailing a jeep home from Korea in MASH). That way you could slowly build a car.
Aaron
Paul, been there, done that. A tear in my eye as each of the 3 Hudsons I had over the years went down the road behind a tow truck. Money trumps resto any day.
And, bro, you'd better stay with the club. I need all the great help you give me with the online library.
Hudsonly,
Alex B
Paul,
I like and appreciate you for who you are and what you have done to help me.
It matters not one bit to me if you "own" a Hudson. I don't judge you by your cars, but by how you have made me feel welcome here!
You have earned a very respected place in the club, if you enjoy your role helping others, why not continue?
Perhaps one day soon, a car will come your way that will bring a special smile...
Rob
I'm sorry for your troubles... I just got here and I don't know you yet, but I can share some kind words with a man who clearly has great taste in cars and friends. I hope things work out for you as best as they possibly can. Good luck to you, and take care, Brian

I'm liking that idea Aaron! At the moment all I have left is my "spare" dash cover saying "112" and the surround for the Oil/Amp light so I have the makings of one 🙂
Paul, you may no longer own a Hudson, but if you are willing many of us would provide you with "Godfather" privileges to the ones we have. Your contribution to the club is significant and deeply appreciated.
Respectfully,
Bill
Paul, if you ever come to N.Z. I can arrange lots of Hudson rides!

Thanks Geoff,
A trip down under is on my bucket list so I'll surely look you up should I get there!
Paul,
Although we've never met; I see your name in the forums with help and Thank You's enough to know how much of friend and asset you must be to the Hudson hobby. In a the broader hobby, I've seen too much division for petty reasons. That has never appeared to be the case with the Hudson faithful and it appears, to me without doubt, that you are one of the reasons.
Being relatively new to my Hudson, to the club and having a busy family with kids ranging from grade school to high school, I've not had the chance to participate in the regional or national events, but I am able to participate in this forum which brings me lots of happiness.
Pat
