are the caps all the same, or are the distritures the same. i have a cxomplete 308 motor,but distr. look differant.

ECHLIN PART NUMBERS
1950 Pacemaker Cap AL 105 Rotor AL 104 (IAT Dist)
1950 Super & Commodore 6 Cap AL 63 Rotor AL 62 (IGS Dist)
1950 8 cyl Cap AL 66 Rotor AL 65
The Hornets uses a different cap & rotor
The clips from your 308 should fit your 1950 distributor but check first
