I bit the bullet and ordered a new master cylinder for my 1939 112 last week from Rockauto. I could have gotten it from eBay but I wanted to be sure that I was dealing with someone I knew as it were.
So I ordered it last Thursday and here it turns up in the UK today; fantastic service!
Just so people are aware I'm not affiliated with them at all in any way
Paul,
Nice when a business delivers, isn't it!
I am impressed when I order from a company that because of their business practices; their service and delivery time far surpasses my expectations.
It's like, this is how ALL businesses should operate...give the customer more than they expect, faster than they expect.
The result, at least from me, is that the business that treated me like I was pretty darn important (duh...what customer isn't...) will get ALL of my future business.
Kudos to your supplier!
Rob

Does that mean you finally got the old one out?

Not quite Eddie but I'm being optimistic of course 🙂 I have soaked the old fixings , got myself some Crowsfeet spanners and , once it stops raining over here, will be attacking the master cylinder and that stubborn rear hub as well!
