I've started work on one of my 37 Hudson's (series 73 & 74) and couldn't really find much for photos of the engine & components under the hood. If anyone has an new or old which you could post or email to me I'd be greatful. I'm looking to use these to get the colors & finishes, materials, etc correct on the 6 & 8 Cyl engines. Things like color & finish of carbs, gas lines, fuel pumps, plug wires, radiator & hoses, wiring and raised lettering on the head, to name a few.
Brian. here are some of my former '36. Under-hood stuff was essentially same in '37. One error when these pic's were made: plug wires should be black. I changed them later.
Do you have one of the fuel pump by chance? I've got mine apart on my 212ci 6cyl and was looking at it yesterday wondering what the lign up should be of the top piece to the bottom piece? In other words how far clockwise does the top turn if the pump mounts at 12:00?
I'm bending a new pump to carb line, & I don't want to rely on the former line to have been done correctly since there's a good chance it wasn't.
