Hi, It' been so long since I took my '37 Terraplane apart that I don't remember where the stop light switch is on the brake mechanism. Unfortunately, my shop manual is no help. Can anyone help me locate this? Also, is there a part number for a modern replacement?\
Thanks!
John
It's a small slide switch that is tripped by the mechanical action of the pedal, I believe it's located on one of the frame cross members (but someone will jump on here to tell you where, exactly). I have never heard of a modern replacement but I have seen them for sale at flea markets in Hudson meets. If no one offers one for sale, you could probably just e-mail some of the folks who sell Hudson parts in the WTN, someone will have a NOS or good used one.
If you have the old one, it may be repairable. Here is a discussion from eight years ago, on the subject: http://www.forum.hetclub.org/discussion/87086/brake-light-switch
Hey Jon thanks very much for the tip!

John, if you can't get yours repaired, we probably have one. Call Cole at 317-398-4163. Thanks Doug
Here are some photo of where my switch is. It is on the engine side of the Pedal/ brake cylinder assembly
Gentlemen, thank you very much! Especially Gordon, thanks for going to the effort of taking and posting the very useful photos!
