Up grading my 37 Terraplane to 12 Volts and have run into a small snag. The old Voltage regulator (Wasn’t on car when I got it) supposedly had four connections plus a ground Bat, Arm, Fld., & T. the new one does not have the fourth “T” terminal.
That leaves me with the wire from the generator light case in the dash dangling in the wind. Any of you Gurus have and ideas where to connect it?
BTW I have heard all the pros and cons about the 12volt upgrade already so take pity on me.

Assuming you have a generator, and not an alternator, you connect the signal wire to the "A"terminal.

For normal alternator: use terminal #1 brown wire to lite. If you have a 'one-wire' alternator, then the light is useless; but it will work if you buy a 11 volt sensor module that will turn the light on if the voltage drops below 11 volts, indicating that the alternator has stopped working.

Where would one find such a sensor module, Richard?
