What is the fitting called on left side of picture and what would the male counterpart be called. It is 1/2" and goes to the fuel pump

To me this appears to be the flexible rubber line that attaches to the metal fuel line on one end and to the fuel pump on the other. It does not attach to the carb.

This is on a 37 Hudson terraplane fuel pump. It is the fitting to the hard fuel line, I need to know what fits it. Measures 1/2"

Not to worry I have Senior moments every day. Much nicer picture. I'm not up on 37's. I'm a stepdown guy, but if that has a female collar fitting on the pump, then it looks like a flare tube type fitting.

I believe it is a 45 degree single flare (not an inverted flare that is usually found on brake lines). I hope someone can confirm this or you could just get a 45 degree fitting and see if it fits.
