does any body know what this
upside switch is for has a connection for a wire has voltage going to it

It might be the dash light dimmer switch.

Could be whatever you want. Is NOT factory installed. Some previous owner had something in mind, fog lights,back up lights or ???

it is factory wired it is a on and off switch
