Is the water manifold the same on all splasher 6 engines? I started to install a reproduction manifold on a 37 pu and the manfold inlet pipe is 1/2" too low to match up with the water pump manifold.

There are differences - and they are associated with the location of the pipe, (out the bottom vs. top), not with the height of the pipe - as far as I know.

In comparing mine (a 1946) to yours, it appears that whoever made the reproduction didn't measure the height of the inlet pipe correctly (?).

I contacted the seller and he found several had been made that way. I just cut the pipe and re-welded in proper position. He had some made up for 6 and 8 cylinder splashers, I think he has two left. I would buy another if I was doing another engine. They are stainless.

You might want to post contact info for the seller, for others who need manifolds -
