I found an Autolite GJW7001-B (hard to read the label but I am sure that was the stamping) at a local parts shed. No other markings on it. Can anyone advise whether it is 1950 Hudson compatible or if it is even 6 volt. Thought I would try the forum before I take to an auto electrical shop for checking.
Thanks in advance.

I ran a google search and came up with this from ebay - CHRYSLER 12V generator vintage part GJC-7001B 1956 Dodge Auto Lite
That's the only thing the search turned up.
Hudsonly,
Alex B

Every 7000 series generator I see is 12 volts. I did not find a GJW 7001B but I did find GJW 7001 D,S

Thanks Alex & Eddie, you have certainly answered my question - it can stay in that parts shed for someone else. I appreciate your help.
