Over the years in a number of parts books (including a 1927-1946 Numerical Price List I am currently working on) I have come across some rather interesting model numbers. Such as 1937 71B and 73B. Does anyone know what the "B" stands for??

Just a wild guess.

Thanks for the reply Ray - but that's not it. Body styles are given as 73 Bro.. 74 Sed. or whatever the model is.

Possible - but doubtful. The only models I've come across are 1937 models 71 and 73, bot with the letter B after the number.

I'll gander a guess: specific export designation?
Business Coupe!?
Hit Ctrl + F and look for 71B or 73B

I feel like I should get a merit badge... but I guess that's what happens when you have a boy and girl scout! Glad I could help Alex... your archiving has helped me and probably tons of others and will help me in unknown things to come. Glad to help where I can.
