Post of Ken's schematic with slightly tweaked sizes

[quote="Kenneth Cates" post=16088][quote="Paul Butler" post=16083][quote="Kenneth Cates" post=16070]Dr Goldberg... could not post a high quality picture of the schematic here. I sent the diagram to your email address as a JPG attachement. It should allow you to view the diagram clearly on the computer and priint it as small or large sizes. The ESSEX plugs can be sourced from USED Hudson parts. Several vendors post on this forum.
Ken
Ken,
Can you send me a copy please so I can try a post in the test site ; email address is HETpaul_hetclub@btinternet.com
Drop the HET as usual
Paul I sent you the picture in question. Ken
As you can see I have now slightly tweaked the allowed posting size. Your jpg was only slightly over what was previously allowed Ken so I have increased that figure slightly and also adjusted the maximum pixel sizes as well.
It looks better to me already 🙂
Great Paul, as always you have a solution!
Kenneth Cates: Regarding Essex plugs, I am confused about where you suggest that I look. By "this forum", do you mean the internal HET CLUB forum? Or the Open Forum? Or is there some other forum somewhere else called "USED Hudson parts"?
I searched for "essex" on the internal HET Club forum, and saw a discussion about the plug, but no leads to possible suppliers.
Could you be more specific regarding where to search and what I might search for? Thanks.
By the way, for what it's worth: Essex Wire and Cable Company was acquired by United Technologies in 1974, and then sold it to Lear Automotive in 1999. Lear Automotive is a key supplier for both General Motors Corp. and Ford Motor Co. They seem to have a huge diversity of connectors, but I was not able to find an online catalog. Somehow, I doubt they would make porcelain plugs anymore, but I could be wrong.
Dr Goldberg: my comment should have been more speciific, I meant that there are people who frequent this boad who are in the Hudson parts business. THe ESSEX plugs used in the OEM harness are usually sourced from USED parts that were on the car being repaired or from cars that were parted out. Lance Walker is one of the folks who parts HUDSON cars and resells those parts to the HET Community.
