Hi Jake,
Thanks for the info. I have placed a bid for the piece on E-bay. (Not something I have done before) If I am successful, I will at least have an example of the assembly and a pattern should I have another made. Some time ago, I purchased a pair of lenses from K-gap. I guess they are supposed to be press fit into the housing.
Anyway, with the generous help of yourself and the forum, I do appear to inching towards a solution. We will see what happens.

Regards,

john blyth

Hi John
Glad to hear I could help, no big deal my pleasure, and thanks to forum folks from me too.

Buying something off ebay the first time feels a bit strange for sure. I have had no problems with purchases through there, it's a good resource. Hope your car is coming together well. I'm always hunting for parts so if another pops up I will let you know.
Cheers Jake

Hi John
I came across a tail light on Craigslist bit expensive and not sure if it's the right side for you but here is the link.

Hi Jake,
Thanks for the info. The piece on Craigslist looks like the one I just acquired but not in as good shape. The pot part does fit. Before I have it restored, I am also looking into Some alternate pots from an Indiana company called Wildrick Rubber. they too are being quite helpful.

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks Again,
john blyth
