Hi All,
Does anyone know where to get reproduction floor pans and trunk floors for step-down hudsons?
I would prefer high quality that match the orgional, if there is one available.
Thanks,
Chris
Recently purchased floor pans for my 1950 Pacemaker from Christopher Spelic. They fit fine with just minor adjustment. You can reach Chris at cspelic@comcast.net or call him at 303-929-8565. He has an advertisement in the WTN under Reproduction Parts.
If I didn't have to, I would not buy the ones off eBay. They are close but when I ordered the right floor pan, he sent it with the measurements of the left. In other words it was way to long side to side. It didnt matter to me because I only needed half of it and used the support rib under the floor to cut, so you cannot see the patch from underneath.
Also, his "indents" use a longer slope than the original, and he uses "V" shaped ribs not round like the original.
Thank you Clyde, I am going to contact Christopher when I get home and start my restoration.
Aaron, I recall seeing a similar discussion on the classic car forum. I completely agree with you on the quality from "classic to current". You would think the price you pay them they would be ready to install without extra trimming required.
Also mentioned on the classiccar forum, Bent Metal makes floor pans. Are there any other HET resources which could help me find repro- floor pans?
Hi Chris,
You might try Doug Wildrick, I think he has a contact that makes floorpans...
