Just curious if Jack Clifford's 54 Hornet race car is still around somewhere.

Chuck Parcell bought it from Jack Clifford & raced it. When he raced It he named it Beauty. His race partner, who also raced, was the guy known as Hudson Ike ( Ike Smith ) Ike 's 54 was known as the Beast. Ike was also a top Hudson mechanic , He's gone now . Chuck is a great guy that I keep in touch with as I'm restoring the 1953 Hornet coupe he used to tow his 54 to the various drag strips he raced at. His 54 held track records . Chuck said he would like to know what happen to Beauty, so if anyone knows ,please let us know..

Ron do you know the serial number. You might check the 54 Hudson register to see if it is in the club. Lee O'Dell
