That has bought about 50 lbs of gravel and 75 lbs of clay and dirt along with their stepdown? The hollow frame rails are just full of clay, dirt and gravel. Two hours later and another is cleaned out. Only the rears now to go! lol

After years of sitting mine were critter motels--filled with seat stuffing and stored seeds, etc.
Nothing a power washer couldn't handle, media blasted the inside as best we could, then sprayed epoxy paint down in there.
Good for another 63 years.

Ha! Mine was/is a perfect combination of these two! Two mice nests (and two mice that gave their all) along with 30 years of caked in mud/gravel/clay from what appeared to be it's earlier life as a coyote/jack rabbit chase vehicle. I fashioned reduced size hoses on vacuums and compressed air nozzles to extract a wheelbarrow full of goodies! Absolutely amazing...k
HA !!!! Not only the frame rail rock, gravel, soybean ballast (yeah, lets call it that, 50 lbs worth), wasp and mouse nests, but mine also came with one (1) live mama mouse and two (2) live baby mice.
My son and I noticed them while out on a drive; quite an entertaining few moments before the next stop sign. Joy.
My Hornet came from Lesotho (Southern Africa) and the fame was filled red dust.

By the heading, I thought that you have a Hudson delivery van. :woohoo:
Glad I am not alone in my excavating fun. Seems like a step-down rite of passage. "How much dirt did you get out of your frame?"
Here's one for you:
How about none?
Probably due to the fact that the car remained inverted for 35 years out in the hot southern sun. I'm sure that had a lot to do with it.

Russ, was there actually any part of what you started with that could hold dirt, etc, etc. LOL
Hudsonly,

Alex... that was my thought too. He had bigger problems than "dirt." Oh and Russ I visit your site often to give me some idea of what I should be doing 🙂 Thanks for having it.
