I am restoring a 1929 open touring car and have got hold of some old papers saying that these parts were available from a member of the Club Mr. Ronald Borkhuis in Tennessee.
I have tried in vain to contact him but have learned from internet that he has unfortunately passed away in August this year.
pardon me if I am wrong on this.
Point is that I am in need for the top steering wheel components- horn button- light lever /throttle lever and the spark lever and also the outer ring.
Can anybody tell me if these parts can be made available from the Family or other persons that have taken up this task to make them available to owners needing them for restorations ??
please contact me with any informations you might have on this issue.

Greetings, Ymer! I wish you well on your restoration. Is this the "regular" 4-door open car, or the "dual-cowl phaeton"?
There are a number of sources for 1929 parts, most of them associated with the H-E-T Club.
One suggestion would be to join the "1916-1929 Super Six Yahoo Group", at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/HudsonSuperSix16-29/info , where you will find a concentrated number of fellow 1929 owners you can converse with. (You can link there, directly from this website, by opening CLUB / Links / Forums in the drop-down menus at the very top of this webpage).
Another thought would be to consult the list of reproduced Hudson parts that I maintain on the internet: http://www.detailedconcepts.net/Repro_Table.pdf -- you might find some of what you seek, there. Geoff Clark reproduces some of the chromed levers and things for the 1929 Hudson interiors, and he is in this list.
Another suggestion is to assemble a document with descriptions and photos of the items you seek, and e-mail a PDF of it to some of the vendors who advertise Hudson parts in the White Triangle News. (I assume you are a member of the H-E-T, since you are posting a message here at the Club's website.)
My Car is an open touring and was used driving tourists from the fjords info the mountains and was registered for 8 people
There was a lot of these cars in Norway in the thirties and now there is only 2 left that we know about.
You may have more of these in Norway than we do in America!
In the U.S., there are several 1929 Hudson open 4-door automobiles, but they are all "Dual-Cowl Phaetons" -- they have a second windshield behind the front seat, on a metal panel which must be lifted in order to enter the rear seat. A "regular" touring car would not have this feature.
Here is a dual-cowl phaeton owned by Eldon Hostetler:
WOW! Your car is beautiful Eldon.

Those dual cowls, of any make really, are beautiful cars. One time, when I was stationed at the Coast Guard base in Boston I found myself without transport from my home in southern Maine back to the base, so was hitchhiking (back in the day when it was safe, more or less, to do so) to get back. I was in Portsmouth, NH, and this beautiful Packard dual-cowl pulled up to give me a ride. While it was a great ride - and the driver took me right to the base - there was one slight problem. This car had no side curtains and it was the middle of February!!!! I nearly froze to death. LOL Loved every mile of it tho.

Carl Weber used to own a 29 Hudson 7 pass touring, he sold it in the 70's to buy his 15 Hudson 654 7 pass touring that he still owns. If I recall correctly, that this one may be the only one in the US. It has passed through several owners since then and the current owner is restoring it. I sold him the front bumper center emblem a couple of years ago.

The car that Tom Brintnall refers to is under restoration by Glen Cox. Glen reports that he may have some of the parts that you need. Glen can be reached at glen193558@gmail.com Provide Glen a list of the specific parts.
Also, the Mahymobiles auto museum in Belgium has an unrestored 7 passenger Hudson Phaeton in storage. www.mahymobiles.be
Many thanks for the response - i know of the car in Mahy but that one is in a poor condition from what I have learned.
I will take some Pictures of my car and send to Glen.
