did the 52 Hudson Hollywood wasp have leather on the dash

Called "leatherette", as was stated earlier, it was a vinyl covered cloth glued to the dash; same as any Hudson that year. WOuld love to see some pictures of your Wasp.

My 53 has a dark blue interior--I have replaced the damaged vinyl with Mercedes-benz Tex fabric.
The dark blue is almost an exact match and is available for about $45/yard.
Very durable and easy to work with material.
A google search for "Mercedes-benz Tex " will yield suppliers with online swatches.
