I need my 1947 truck hood ornament re chromed. I sent one with the rest of my trim and they did a horrible job. They removed the lines on the side and it is wavy. I have another one in good condition with some pits. I just don't trust anyone to do it. I would like to have it back to the original state if possible.

You might want to mention what part of the country you're located in. That way, someone might be able to suggest a plater that's closer to home.
