Hi Alex;
I just sent a similar message to you on another thread. I noticed that our online library
does not include a "Mechanical Procedures Manual" for the Hudson Jet.
These are readily available on ebay, both originals and reprints ($25ppd).
I'd be happy to buy one and mail it in to be scanned. I have a hard copy,
but it's pretty greasy.

I just tried to look up a parts manual but there doesn't seem to be anything other than the last five manuals added. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Click Library at very top of page, then click 'search library'. Type 'manual' in, then go down to 'catagory', then click the type and year on manual. Then click on the one you want from the photo illustrations.
This appears to have slightly changed from what it used to be.
Keep at it, it will work; forgot that you need to check 'title' when you put in 'manual'; or leave everything checked.
Then look at all of them and click the one you want to see.
Alex Burr passes away on Wednesday, the 22nd of December 2021. His contributions will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
His contribution to the club with the library and the help he gave me when we moved to the new version was incredible.
A life well lived , a man well liked may he rest in peace indeed.

Alex was the only member to respond to my forum request for info on HET activities when I knew I was coming to the States for a child's graduation. He went out of his way to make things happen for this New Zealander interested in Essex back in 2004.
A fine public spirited man who will be much missed,
RIP Alex

Does anyone have or did they even make a mechanical procedure manual for the 38 or 39 models? The library has 34-37 and 40+ but nothing in the middle.
I have a Mechanical Procedure manual that covers from 1936 to 1939.
There are 23 different sections in it from section 1( missing) to section 23 (service information)
Ivan l.
I also have one that covers 36-39
