I read with interest comments and questions concerning adding A/C... FYI I just started a project to add A/C to my 1939 112 (90), for a starting place I ordered from Old Air (John Price extension 122). Old Air as a company seemed to want my business unlike another vintage business that laughed at my selection of vehicle to build... but that aside I purchased first the Old Air mock-up case to ensure the unit would fit, than returned the mock-up case after determining Old Air products would fit... I ordered system 3100 along with some other upgrades, as we all know the A/C pump location on a Hudson has been a issue I will soon have a finished mount in hand, we hope to work out something with Old Air to feature this mount and have it available for others in the future ( manufacture of a A/C mount for me on any scale after one is not feasible I think the market will be better served if Old Air handles manufacturing of a mount from this point).
The fit is tight but everything fits to this point, I've had to make all my own mounts to secure the housing in place, I sure some minor modifications to the glove box and mount will be necessary... but that is yet to be determined.
In the process of building condenser and fan mounts and running lines... I will be running hard lines and crimping in place myself.
If I can be of some help to another attempting to add A/C to their early Hudson give me a call.... hope this helps!!!!

PS I will be running all of this on the serpentine system that I built... also built into this vehicle 4 wheel disc brakes, and coil pack ignition... future project is to look into P/S added to the straight axle!
