Hi all. The following question is from a NZHET memmebr not currently on the forum. I hope someone can answer his question.
We are in the final throws of re-installing a rebuilt engine (202) in our 1954 JetLiner - right hand drive. The engine has been fitted into the engine bay with the inlet and exhaust manifolds fitted. We've now discovered that we should have installed the oil pressure switch sooner. Can someone tell us what size the drilling is in the block for the oil pressure switch as it is now difficult to access it. It is obviously larger than the thread on the oil pressure switch so a reducing bush will be required. Thanks, David
In case you didn't see it on the other forum, it's a 1/4 NPT port on the block, bushed to 1/8 NPT for the switch but one can simply use a pressure switch with a 1/4 NPT male thread directly into that port. It has no 45 or extension nipple as on the big engines. Be careful not to get any BSP threaded fittings.

Many thanks Frank - I will pass that info on.
