Is there a seal of some sort that slips over the spline of the driveshaft where it slips into the tail of a hydra-matic tranny? if so do you have a part # or source?

original there was a two-part seal on the rear of the hydramatics, one contained in a bell-shaped short tube. Most people leave this off and replace with a simple rear seal as available at autotrans.us. Give Dave Edwards a call and he'll set you up.
