I've seen worse brought back to life. a 1941 Commodore 8 cv and a 1952 Hornet cv come to mind.

And the red Jet Convertible
Lee O'Dell
It can be done!
Ed can you call me? thanks Russ Maas
And a '54 Hood for the lucky buyer, to boot!
This is worth some money for parts: some convertible-specific parts alone (which is probably all that's really worth saving with this one). Top Irons, stainless windshield header and maybe some others. Appears to be missing rear seat springs and other convertible hard parts.
I placed the second bid. The first was probably a shill bid. I asked the seller some simple questions in two messages on the 16th and 17th. no reply yet.
It appears to be a 52 . The grille bars have holes for the inverted "V". I hope someone closer to Michigan than me (Florida) bids on it!
It's in Missouri.
Still too damn far away!
I'm glad I bid on it. I hope someone will do something with it ! As russ stated, it has some good parts!!
SOLD WINNING BID $1680
Glad to see it got rescued.. not sure it was a bargain when you consider picking it up and transporting it. At least it was not crushed.
There's more than that in parts alone. Good buy. I would have gotten it myself if I had had the time.
