Thought I'd ask this on the forum so all can see. I know this has been answered before, but
What kind of oil pressure should I be expecting in a new rebuilt 308?

Hudson stated 35 lbs at 35 miles per hour and 20 lbs at idle. Stay away from high pressure. My engine has 143,000 miles since rebuild, with 17 trips ocean to ocean and still has this same pressure. Walt.

Walt, thanks! I thought you might chime in. I don't have it on the road yet, but hot run on the engine stand looks like it may be spot on.
