Does anyone know if there are part numbers or a source for the 3 springs that go on the emergency brake levers that are underneath the step downs? Mine is a 52 Hornet. From what I can determine, it looks like 2 springs might be the same, and the 3rd spring is longer that connects to a tab that is welded to the bottom of the floor board and connects to the lever that the E-brake cable is attached to. The illustration in the mechanical book is not very detailed, but it does show 3 springs. Thank you in advance for the help and knowledge that's on this great forum.

Do you at least have pieces of the old springs? I had two out of 3. One is very weak and connects closest to MC. The other two are similar, but not the same

I brought an old rusty piece down to hardware store and bought a replacement of similar wire thickness, diameter, etc. It was not long enough so the remainder of length was made up with piano wire strung to adequate tension. All seems to work fine. The original 3 springs are all different:
C10-
36= 300914
37= 302169
38= 300916

Hi David, the only one I had was the long one number 37, 36 & 38 were missing. I appreciate your help. It looks like I need to find something close with the right tension. Again thank you! Bill

Sorry my car is out to upholstery, or I'd get underneath and get you a wire diameter and coil diameter on each spring, which would go a long way toward selecting a replacement. Anyone else happen to have their car on a lift and can get some spring dimensions for Bill?

Hey David, thanks for helping me figure this out. I have been playing with a couple of springs trying to get the correct tension. Would anyone have a picture of the two shorter springs that are number 36 and 38 in the diagram? I am having a difficult time seeing exactly where they hook, the picture is not very clear.
