Lance is that the same unit for a 51 Hornet?
It appears I need one too. The voltage drop across the switch is 6v to 2.5 V.

No Dean the 51 is a stand alone switch. Although similar to the 49-50 switch, the base foot is not bent at the angle needed for the 48-50 . It's also the last year for the starter button. Starting in 1952 ignition switches had the ignition , and start functions combined. It also had the accessory mode as well. Key cylinders will interchange from 48-54 but the switches themselves will vary depending on the year model. If your switch can be be repaired I can do that. If it needs to be replaced I can do that as well.

LANCE: I tried to send you a private email but I don't know if it went through.
Whats your fee to rebuild my 51 ignition switch?
Where do I send it?
Dean
