I checked the speakers. I have one that sounds good. There are several small radial cracks at the edge of the cone, but they are not affecting the tone. There is nothing loose, the cone and voice coil are properly aligned. It says Motorola Golden Voice on it. The resistance is 8 ohms.

I am going to Colorado, but I'm hoping to have the radio working so I can listen to it.
If the one you have is cracked, I'm going to pass as it won't be long (with use) that it will be in the same shape as the one I already have.
