I'm just getting to installing my newly rebuilt 2barrel carb and removed the heat shield to re-paint and found there where three gaskets between the carb and the shield and none under the shield to the intake.Can someone tell me if I need one under the heat shield?I'm sure I only need one under carb,correct? Hoping to here her run this afternoon after sleeping for 12 years!

Several Hudson applications of the WA-1 called for three gaskets, heat shield, three gaskets, carb. You do need a gasket on either side of the heat shield or expect a vacuum leak wherever a gasket is missing. With the WGD not sure of the gasket number and position...
