Hi, I have found one standard (not oil bath) twin H air cleaner. Does anyone know if the front and back air cleaners are different?
I didn't know if one was shaped differently or longer. Also, are the standard air cleaners easier or harder to find than the oil bath type?
Thanks. Jason
They are the same and about the same to find each type.
There are air cleaners that look almost identical to Twin-H air cleaners. I almost bought one I was told was for Twin H at a swap meet about 10 years ago. The only difference was the inside measurement that fit onto carburetor was larger to fit onto 2 barrel carburetor. I don't recall the different measurements between one barrel carb and a two barrel carb Twin H style air cleaners.

Funny. I almost bought a 2 barrel air cleaner as well but noticed the carb opening was larger.
I have 1 Twin-H that I can faintly see the old decal.
Does anyone have one Twin-H air cleaner I could buy to complete my set?
Thanks. Jason
Check with Jason Fisher, in CA. He's got a lot of stuff like that, and is a straight guy to deal with. See Pg. 38 of latest WTN.
There are two different Twin H air filters. The late 54 (AMC) and up are shaped different but interchangable. The original had a rectangular section at the carb end. The later one is rounded.
