Car ratings and value

In the HET club roster, the member cars are "rated" by the number system; # 1 being best and going down the scale from there. What value scale if any is associated with these numbers? Is it a club value system, or some national grading system? I'm looking at all these (self chosen) numbers and wonder what value to assign to them. Thank you, Rob
