Only if your engine has had modifications to put on "7X"-styled 1/2" bolts. Stock bolts are 7/16". If they are 1/2", you need extra heavy thick washers which can be gotten from the Maas', who keep them in stock. If your headbolts are 7/16", you can go with a standard 7/16" Grade 8 washer.

Its a 55-56 engine that came with the 1/2 bolt mod stock. So washers through Maas? Just really dont want to screw this up.... lol.

Yes, sorry. Forgot about the 55-56's. The 1/2" head bolts need a really thick washer to properly hold the head in place. Get them from Russ and Randy Maas. 90 ft.-lbs. when you get them, in stages and in the proper sequence. Very important.
