I know this is a long shot. I need the main body and flange assembly for a Carter WA-1 968s carburetor (53 Hornet twin-H). It has a Carter part number 1-908s (or possibly 1-1028s) and it would include the venturi and nozzle section of the carburetor. As an alternative a used carburetor for parts would be OK. If nobody has one, any suggestions on who else to contact would be appreciated. I will also put this request in the WTN classified ads.

Ed, I have two incomplete 968s's on a twin -h intake. By incomplete, I mean that somebody has removed the choke butterfly valve on both carbs and the plastic choke cover on one. They don't look like they've been messed with other than that. I'd be willing to part with the one with the plastic choke housing missing if your interested. I can send you a picture if needed. Terry
