I have a non-Hudson friend who lives in Cincinnati, OH. Denny likes to go on road trips, just traveling from here to there on the old U S highways. Last summer he took advantage of my invitation to come visit with us at the French Lick National meet. Today he came thru Memphis after a trip out to Oklahoma and we got together for breakfast. We got talking about his visit to French Lick and what he thought about it. Denny said the cars were great, but what really got to him was how friendly everyone he met was. He says he is already planning to get together with us in Chattanooga next year.
So to all of you he met in French Lick and welcomed him thank you. Maybe one of these days we'll get him into a Hudson and the HET club, but I doubt that. He isn't that much of a car nut. Hmmmmmm - maybe I'll give him a gift membership for Christmas.
Hudsonly,

I can introduce him to some people that will make him think twice!!! :DD Haha Kidding! If it wasn't for the extreme kindness and generosity of John O'Halloran I wouldn't be here! Special shout out to Gus, Linton, and John: Gus Souza: Rockstar of the Hudson Club, "Uncle Linty": Linton Richard, and "Johnny O'", "Johnny O'Hooligan", "Johnny No-nos", John "Slowhalloran" O'Halloran: The H-E-T Club Librarian! The awesomest members of the Hudson Club!
The Hudson Club is a colorful cast of characters! And that is why our Club Motto is: "Come for the cars, Stay in spite of the people!"
Zack, what do you expect - HET is a family. And like any family it has its good guys, bad guys (very, very few), iit's eccentrics and its legends. Actually I think most of us are eccentric when it comes to Hudsons!!!! It's a great group of people with the same idea - keep them Hudsons rolling be it restoration, repair or providing needed manuals, etc. Everybody contributes something to the whole. And it makes for a great bunch of nut cases.

Alex B
Very well said.
