I recall that the '52 Hornet that was our family car back in the day, always had a strip of masking tape along the top of the gauge cluster. Dad preferred blinding speed to blinding chrome.

Thank you Richard and Russ. I'll have to remember that Frank. I've always laid a towel on dash to cover the chrome.

The OCD in me would never allow such frivolity. I just have to put on darker shades. [size=5] B) [/size]
