Are all the grease fittings the same for 50 Pacemaker Deluxe?
By this I mean are they are the same size and thread count for those that can be removed?
I figured i would work to replace them as I put new grease in them.
All grease fittings are the same on Hudson's, starting from 1934 to 1954. Some fittings are straight and some are 90 degree. Just remember to never use a pressure grease gun on king pins and throw out bearing. Use a hand held pressure gun. Walt.
Why do you want to replace them all? if they are modern type (many decades) with a spring loaded ball to keep the grease in, and the ball functions, and they aren't looking physically bad from external rust, there just isn't any reason to replace that I can think of.
If you have grease fittings on your present U-joints and tie rod ends, they are likely a smaller thread and smaller hex than the majority of fittings (often called "zerks" on the car. All depends on what has been replaced and with what brand, over the last sixty five years !!!

To force me to find them all so they be serviced. There is a lot of road grime under the car. So by taking the time to clean it off, finding the grease fittings, and trying to apply new grease, I thought why not replace them.
